How better to crown 2024, another prodigious year for The Italian Sea Group - a global luxury boating operator, with the Picchiotti, Admiral, Perini Navi, Tecnomar, NCA Refit and Celi 1920 brands - than at the Monaco Yacht Show, the prestigious international exhibition dedicated to the world of superyachts and megayachts in the picturesque Port Hercule of the Principality of Monaco? And it is therefore the most "suitable" showcase that Giovanni Costantino could have chosen as the catwalk for his precious creations, yachts that "express the perfect synthesis of cutting-edge design, investments in technology and solid construction, to give shipowners and experts the opportunity to appreciate their exceptional quality, attention to detail and an increasingly surprising stylistic innovation that is rewriting the codes of luxury yachting".
The event provided a showcase to display the power and beauty of the "ADMIRAL Platinum 78m" Megayacht, the "ADMIRAL JAS 66m" Superyacht, the ADMIRAL Silver Star I 55m motoryacht with interiors by Giorgio Armani, as well as two Tecnomars for Lamborghini 63' lined up at the Quai Rainier Ier, with the classy touch of the tender of the new Picchiotti fleet for travel within the yacht show.
THE NUMBER ONE ITALIAN MANUFACTURER OF SUPERYACHTS OVER 50 METRES
Monaco therefore demands that we take up the threads of the wonderful story of Giovanni Costantino, the dreamer with his feet firmly planted on the ground and a passion for challenges. It is an original story, one rooted in a past that has become the present and that aims to anticipate the future of the Italian company he founded. Now listed on Euronext Milan, it is active in the construction and refitting of motoryachts and sailing yachts up to 140 metres.
It works with the Admiral brand, renowned for the prestigious and elegant Tecnomar models, recognised for its sportiness, cutting-edge design and high performance; with Perini Navi, a representative of excellence in large sailing yachts; and with Picchiotti, a historic brand with classic and elegant lines, in addition to the NCA Refit business unit, for repairs and refits with a focus on yachts over 60 metres.
The company has also developed partnerships with Giorgio Armani, for the creation of yachts bearing his signature that express the fusion between two pinnacles of Italian style in terms of fashion and boating, and with Automobili Lamborghini, for the design and construction of the "Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63", a limited edition motor yacht with extraordinary performance.
As such, according to the Global Order Book 2024, the Group has become the leading Italian manufacturer of superyachts over 50 metres.
THE IRRESISTIBLE ALLURE OF ADMIRAL POWER AND STYLE
At this point it should be noted that while the Admiral Platinum 78m megayacht that resulted from a collaboration between two of the world's leading international Yacht Design studios - SINOT for the interiors and Lobanov Design Studio for the exteriors - is proposed with clean lines and a sinuous, elegant profile, the Admiral Jas 67m superyacht, presented in Monaco as a world premiere, offers aggressive and contemporary lines, enhanced by a uniquely luminous white colour scheme and contrasting black elements, which give it a sinuous and majesty style.
Its exteriors were designed by the TISG Style Centre and the interiors are by the English studio Mark Berryman Design, which is responsible for the stylistic concept created by CELI 1920, the Group's cabinetmaker, and which according to Giovanni Costantino "is characterised by an aesthetic with a strong and decisive, almost masculine style, with elegant proportions and refined details that express harmony and audacity, like the entire Admiral fleet". Sent to Monaco to shine among the stars, the Admiral proved to be the hit ambassador of The Italian Sea Group's magical hive and its centre of gravity on the Ligurian-Tuscan coast.
ARMANI AND THE AESTHETIC PHILOSOPHY OF ESSENTIAL AND SOPHISTICATED LUXURY
Mission accomplished, and that's not all: consolidating the value of Admiral yachts' design, engineering and the highest quality standards is the 55-metre Admiral Silver Star I motor yacht, shown together with the brokerage firm TWW. The exteriors curated by the TISG Style Centre and the interiors designed by Giorgio Armani affirm the aesthetic philosophy of minimalist and sophisticated luxury, with refined environments and muted tones.
It features absolute elegance down to the smallest details, which highlight the purity, classical nature and modernity of the yacht. Finally, the chromatic power of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 remains unparalleled. Present in the two colours Bia Red and Nethus Blue, it was inspired by the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37, the hybrid supercar with an unmistakable design, which inspired various details in the yacht, including carbon fibre and super sports seats.
On the other hand, Monaco reminds us of the sale of the first Admiral Quaranta motoryacht a few months after the presentation of the new series, a project born from the collaboration between the Monegasque design studio The A Group and the Style Centre of The Italian Sea Group, which is expanding the Group's fleet by introducing a new 40-metre segment among the semi-custom Admiral models, while maintaining the brand's refined stylistic canons and the very high quality of the company's DNA.
THIS IS IT, THE NEW EXCITING PRESENCE AMONG CATAMARANS
And always in Monaco the catamaran Tecnomar This Is It won the "Best Catamaran" award at the Robb Report Best Award 2024, which celebrates the best luxury products and experiences of the last 12 months in the world of architecture, style, design, food, nautical and technological innovation.
That's because This Is It, a new exciting presence among catamarans, challenges conventions with a unique design in which tradition and innovation merge to create a concept of lifestyle and radical style, defined by a layout with clear asymmetries and a decisive and captivating silhouette surrounded by 600 square metres of imposing windows. The inspiration is technological, far from the typical design of yachting and more in line with civil architecture, with external lines that challenge the perception of what is really possible, forcing us to totally rethink our aesthetic parameters.
THE EXCITING DRIVE EXPERIENCES OF TECNOMAR FOR LAMBORGHINI 63
Looking back, let's go from autumn in Monaco to the summer of Porto Cervo, to the Flagship store that The Italian Sea Group reopened in the Costa Smeralda. This is where soft lighting, music and elegance provided the backdrop for the models of the Admiral, Perini Navi and Picchiotti fleets. The Group's history and philosophy were told across three large LED walls in perfect balance between innovation and tradition. Exciting drive experiences were offered on board the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, while in Marina di Carrara another was delivered to the owner, a member of the Saudi Royal Family.
Since its first delivery in 2021, this star of the sea, designed with a very low draught to moor in shallow waters and which can reach any distance in a short time with its 63 knots, has fascinated the entire globe. It continues to sail in the Mediterranean, in the East and West Coats of the United States, the Middle East and Australia, and to shine, in the EMEA (Europe-Middle East Africa) area, at the Limassol Boat Show in Cyprus, from Best of the Best in the luxury industry of "Motor yacht Weekend Cruiser" by Robb Report and from "Motor Yacht under 25 metres" to the International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
A CORPORATE GOVERNANCE MODEL THAT RANKS AMONG THE TOP PERFORMERS
The business, results and accolades in the 2024 yearbook must necessarily be completed by the attribution of the STAR qualification to the ordinary shares of The Italian Sea Group by the Italian Stock Exchange, confirming its compliance with strict requirements of transparency, governance, communication and economic-financial solidity.
It also recognises the Company's position in a higher performance category, from an environmental point of view, compared to the median of the sector and its strengths, such as the high inclusion of workers under 30, attention to the well-being of employees and ISO 45001 certified occupational health and safety safeguards. It is a corporate governance model that ranks among the top performers and with a high level of awareness and integration of ESG issues.
And the story continues…
