Hollywood, October 26, 2019 - Director Lina Wertmüller, the first woman in history to be nominated for an Oscar for directing, was the guest of honor at the villa of Martha De Laurentiis, producer of films including the television series "Hannibal," where she received the Lifetime Achievement Oscar, 42 years after her legendary Oscar nomination for "Seven Beauties."
Cinema stars and prominent international figures such as Jodie Foster, Danny Huston, Oscar winner Gabriella Cristiani, Netflix chief Ted Sarandos, director Paolo Sorrentino, and world champion Alessandro Del Piero attended the lunch organized by Genoma Films and the Sardegna Film Commission Foundation to celebrate the great Roman director.
