NERO Hotels sponsored the gala dinner - prepared by Davide Oldani - at the Foro Italico in honour of the Italian Olympic Team prior to its departure for the Rio 2016 Games.

As well as the sportsmen and women and President Giovanni Malagò, the event was also attended by personalities from sports, film and show-business.

Some of the receipts from the dinner were donated to the Coni and Action Aid project run to improve the quality of life of young people in the Rocinha and Cidade de Deus favelas in Rio.
