A sold-out crowd gathered at Milan's La Scala Theatre to enjoy a gala dinner in support of the Francesca Rava Foundation - NPH Italy ETS, which since 2000 has helped children and young people in need and vulnerable women in Italy, Haiti and around the world.
The evening began at 6pm with a guided tour of the Gallerie d'Italia and ended with cocktails. This was followed by the performance at the Teatro La Scala in Milan, a special and unforgettable event with the Cameristi della Scala on stage with Angela Hewitt, conductor and pianist. Angela Hewitt, one of the world's most renowned pianists, performs regularly in recitals and with the most important orchestras in Europe, America, Australia and Asia. Among the dignitaries present were Matteo Perego di Cremnago, Undersecretary of State for Defence; Admiral Antonio Natale, representing the Navy; Major General Luigi del Bene, Commander of the First Air Region; Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture of the City of Milan; and Maria Carla Gatto, President of the Juvenile Court of Milan. Martina Colombari with Billy Costacurta, Rajae Bezzaz, correspondent of Striscia la Notizia and the rapper Tedua were present among the many volunteers, testimonials, ambassadors and friends of the Foundation. After the concert, the guests were invited to dinner at the Ridotto Toscanini.
At the beginning of the dinner, a number of gift bags were distributed containing our NERO Lifestyle magazine, a €200 voucher to be used at one of our partner hotels, information about the hotels in the NERO Lifestyle collection and a branded travel kit. We also provided a voucher for a three-night stay for two people at our partner hotel, Therasia Resort & SPA, which was auctioned off to support the association's charitable initiatives.
